Foundation Year 1 (FY1) and Year 2 (FY2) doctors.
Scientific Abstracts
Submissions should relate to AI in Healthcare as a core theme. Abstracts will be selected for poster presentation based on review scores and delegate preferences,

- Word Count: 250 words (±10%)
- Font: Arial, 12 point
- Declaration of interest required
Strict No-AI Policy
Use of Generative AI to write the abstract is strictly prohibited. Any submission found to be plagiarising content or generated by AI will be immediately disqualified.
Essay Competition
"What does the future of the NHS and AI look like?"
Write an essay exploring the implementation, challenges, and potential of AI within the National Health Service. Essays will be judged based on content quality, synthesis of evidence, originality, and readability.
Requirements
- • 800 - 1,200 words (excluding title/refs)
- • Minimum 5 references (Harvard Style)
- • Arial, 12 point font
- • Anonymous: Do not include your name in the document
Prizes
- • Top 3 submissions receive a certificate
- • Winners announced on conference day
- • Publication on conference website
Policy: Use of AI to generate text is not permitted. Plagiarism checks will be conducted.

Format
Please submit files as PDF to ensure formatting (graphs/images) is preserved.
Abstract Outcomes
You will be notified approx. 3 days after the deadline to allow time for poster printing.
Essay Outcomes
Winners will be announced live on the day of the conference.
